Skyline Residential Designs was born out of my love for the city, all things urban and Atlanta’s majestic skyline. While thinking of a name for the firm that would best describe our esthetic and sensibility, the Atlanta skyline became the perfect backdrop for our concepts.
Atlanta, like many urban cities around the world, is going through a renaissance of design ideas. In addition, Victorians and Cottages and Lofts have undergone a revival in the inner cities, from San Francisco to Miami and New York to Barcelona as people worldwide rediscover their urban past.
Atlanta is an example of how urban environments are being reclaimed as old homes are purchased and renovated and warehouses become lofts in former industrial areas.
Skyline Residential Design is at the vanguard of filling the needs for this melding of diverse design concepts. The home has recovered its long held position as a cherished space for friends and family. Witness the number of television shows dealing with home renovation, decorating and design or the magazines referring to Craftsman Revival or New Old House. This is where Skyline Residential Design comes in.
